When Jay and I were searching for our wedding photographer we must have visited a dozen websites. We weren't exactly sure what we were looking for at the time, but knew that we wanted to feel something--anything--about the photographs and photographer we chose. So many websites showed the same uninspiring poses and props over and over again to the point that they literally blurred together.

We came across your website late in our search and were very impressed by the exceptional way you seemed to immerse yourself in your subject matter. I'm sure most artists believe that their art is a personal extension of themselves, but in your case it really is! This is evident in the way you intuitively know how to capture people and moments, even the seemingly insignificant ones. But what really stood out for us was the way you seem to capture the very essence of your subject. You have a rare gift for understanding the personalities, emotions, and underlying feelings of an event. You certainly did this for us. The picture of my 3-year-old niece gazing at our wedding cake, looking like it was all she could do to control the urge to stick her finger in, is a classic that my family will treasure forever.

Alex, I wanted to also share with you that our families and the B&B staff were all quite impressed with you personally. You were friendly, professional, and really put them at ease. You blended right in with our small group, and it seemed like you were more of a guest than a professional just doing your job. You helped to make our day special and we will be forever grateful for the beautiful pictures!

My wife and I hired Alex as the photographer for our wedding. He offered everything that we were looking for in a photographer and we found him to be very friendly. Alex was very tentative to what we wanted in terms of pictures at the wedding. He meet with us and went over all the packets he was offering. Alex worked with us to get the best packet and the best deal for the money. We found Alex to be very affordable and easy to get along with. In the middle of the wedding chaos he managed to take every picture he needed and everyone felt very comfortable with him. I am sure you hear this from every client, but our wedding pictures were more beautiful than I ever could have hoped for. You captured all the important moments in a way that was timeless and yet unexpected--so many wedding photos end up looking exactly the same but with different main characters! Alex (and his assistant) photographed our wedding in August 2001. Many family and friends commented, as did we, on how great they were to work with the night of the wedding, They seemed to be having fun taking the photos, which fit in with the mood of the occasion. They were also unobtrusive throughout the evening, but were able to capture all of the important moments.

We have exceptional pictures of all aspects of the ceremony and reception: formal photos before the wedding, moments before the ceremony, the ceremony, our guests at the cocktail hour, toasts, guests dancing the YMCA/hustle, our first dance, cutting the cake, family pictures, flower girls, etc.!

We were also pleased with the quality of the pictures. The color pictures were vibrant and the black and white.pictures had a soft, classic quality.

Throughout our wedding planning and after the big day, Alex was accessible and responded quickly to our requests/questions. This helped facilitate the many details involved with the wedding planning as well as afterwards when we continued to work with Alex to place reprint orders.
